What are research guides?

Research guides are lists of resources on specific topics, created by librarians to assist students with their research needs. These resources may include but are not limited to books, journals, databases, websites, as well as any other topics the librarian feels would assist students with their research. Research guides can be built around a specific major, course, or even assignment.
