Our goal is to help students succeed in the classroom. Professors/Instructors are the primary source for students, but we are here to assist Bethel students in academic success. Peer tutors are available upon request. You can find a Tutor Request Form at the front desk in CASA or you can fill it out online. The Front Desk Supervisor, Amber Watson, will fill your request and you will be alerted by email with your appointment information or asking for more information. Peer-to-Peer appointments recur weekly.
CASA offers Drop-In Tutoring for a variety of courses which are subject to change each semester. No appointment is needed to utilize this service. You can find the times and courses available for Drop-In Tutoring on the Homepage or the bulletin board located in CASA. This service is good for students that need to ask about a concept, get help with a problem, or have a paper looked over.
This service allows you to email questions to email@example.com. This service is used to be as a brief reference, not a full tutoring session. This email is checked Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm. You will need to allow 12-24 hours for a response. If you email on the weekend you will need to allow 48 hours.
The Study Area is located in the main area of CASA and can be used by students to study by themselves or with others. This area offers several and chairs.
If you are utilizing CASA in anyway please sign in at the front desk.
The Book Reserve is located in the main area of CASA. Students may check out a book from the collection to use in CASA, you are not allowed to leave with the book. In order to check out a book, the student will need to have his or her Bethel Student ID.
You are not allowed to take pictures of the books with your cell phone or any other device.
