HEighten WC Assessment

Scheduling

1. Baseline scores for seniors' performance on the HEIghten$^{TM}$ WC will be obtained from seniors during the academic year 2018-2019.
2. Beginning in the Fall of 2019-2020, the writing proficiency of students enrolled in WE designated sections of courses will be assessed using the WC, in class or remotely.

Use of Individual Student Scores

1. Following ETS's advice, no use will be made of individual students' scores ``to make high-stakes decisions regarding individual students'' \cite[p. 36]{etsheighten6}.
