How to Use this LibGuide
If students look at the tabs on this guide, they will see how tabs can direct you to specific content that is suited to their particular needs for the research and writing assignments required in this class.
- There are tabs for each of the writing assignments students will do in this class requiring research. I will have the assignment sheets there and links (or .PDFs) of the articles I want students to use for sources there as well. If I do not assign particular sources, I will provide relevant means of conducting research for appropriate, scholarly sources for the writing assignments.
- The MLA Citation tab offers students helpful sites and assistance to help ensure they are creating documents meeting the Modern Language Associate format and guidelines for scholarly writing.
- My contact information is listed in my profile, so in the event a student needs further help, my email information, office hours times, and other means of contacting me are available on this library guide.
I have also included Google Scholar Search and Google Books Search boxes for students in appropriate areas throughout the guide to help students use Google better, more effectively, and more akin to how scholars use Google specific to their research needs.
