Accessing the Library
When accessing the Bethel Library's electronic databases or electronic books from off-campus, students must log in and will be prompted to log in for viewing content and using these resources. The log in information should be the same credentials students use when accessing EPortal and/or initial set up with their Bethel email account.
How to Use this LibGuide
If you look at the tabs on this guide, you will see how tabs can direct you to specific content most appealing to your particular needs for the research and writing assignments required in this class.
- There are tabs for each of the writing assignments you will do in this class requiring research. I will have the assignment sheets there and links (or .PDFs) of the articles I want you to use for sources there as well. If I do not assign particular sources, I will provide relevant means of conducting research for appropriate, scholarly sources for the writing assignments.
- The MLA Citation tab offers you helpful sites and assistance to help ensure you are creating documents meeting the Modern Language Associate format and guidelines for scholarly writing.
- My contact information is listed in my profile, so in the event you need further help, my email information, office hours times, and other means of contacting me are available on this library guide.
I have also included Google Scholar Search and Google Books Search boxes for you throughout the guide in all tabs to help you use Google better, more effectively, and more akin to how scholars use Google specific to their research needs.
