Bethel University Library offers a wide range of library services, plus warm and inviting areas for students to study and work in individually or in small groups on class papers, assignments, and projects. The library provides students, faculty, and staff with access to:

  • 24,235 print books,
  • 191,041 ebooks,
  • 52,186 streaming videos,
  • 1,098 DVDs,
  • 58,235 unduplicated ejournal titles, and
  • 87 databases.

Off-Campus Access

Electronic resources can be accessed by anyone from on-campus without need for a username or password. Faculty, staff, and students have access to all electronic resources from off-campus using a secure log-in. The username is your full Bethel email address ( and the password you have associated with your email account.

There are occasional issues with accessing the resources using this method. The instructions you will find HERE, solve the problem most of the time. If you still have issues, please contact Jill Whitfill, Library Director, at or 731-352-6913.

Where we are located


The Library is located on the top floor of the newly renovated Burroughs Learning Center which also houses the Center for Academic Student Achievement (Tutoring and Writing Centers), faculty offices, and classrooms on the lower level.

Rules Governing the Use of Bethel Library's Facilities and Services
