A short tutorial on how to follow copyright guidelines

Definition

Plagiarism is defined as the use of another's ideas, thoughts, or words without giving them proper credit.  Whether intentional or not, taking credit for somebody else's work is plagiarism.  This can be word-for-word copying, improper paraphrasing, or failing to cite the original source.  It can result in a failing grade on an assignment, failing a class, or even school expulsion. The below links provide additional information about plagiarism and resources on how to properly cite references.
