Copyright and Fair Use

A short tutorial on how to follow copyright guidelines

Sound Recordings and Copyright

Musical recordings, sound recordings, and sheet music are legally protected by copyright, even if you can find them online. When using sheet music or sound recordings, make sure that they are either in the public domain or that your use of the recording falls under fair use. Even making a copy of protected sheet music without the express permission of the copyright holder is a copyright violation.
