Scholarly sources are papers written by experts and then reviewed by experts. These papers are evaluated for reliability by assessing if the author has credentials or expertise (an advanced degree or significant professional experience) and if the paper's content is substantial and supported by evidence.
Sometimes you will find a website with information you would like to use in an assignment. Be sure to ask: is this information reliable? To figure out if it is, apply the SIFT method described below.

What is a DOI? A DOI is the "digital object identifier," a special permanent link for online academic journal articles.
Step-by-Step: Locating articles in OneSearch using the DOI
1. Go to the OneSearch box. To search, you need the part of the DOI starting with "10..." The https://doi.org is not needed.
2. In the OneSearch Box, as an example input: 10.1186/s40561-022-00204-y
3. Select Search!
4. Click on the article title to see the full text if available.

2. In the OneSearch Box, type or paste in the title. Example: A systematic review on digital literacy
