Work Study Information

Recruitment and Eligibility

All students interested in working in the library are required to go through the Financial Aid Works Study Program. They need to contact Financial Aid directly to see if they are eligible. For any questions, please contact the Work Study Directors.

The Library Work Study Contact (Public Services Supervisor) will connect with the Work Study Directors noting Work Study needs (i.e. hours and total participants). For the fall semester, this is completed in July.

Once a student is deemed eligible for a work study position, then they are placed by the director according to the hours noted by the Library Work Study Contact.

The Library Work Study Contact will create a file to keep all completed Work Study paperwork (i.e. contract, guidelines, points, and timesheets).
